Perth, Australia, is getting a new landmark: The Heath Ledger Theatre. It's an $87 million, 575-seat auditorium named for the native of Australia.
Western Australia state Premier Alan Carpenter said at a dedication ceremony that the name was appropriate, given how supportive the late actor had always been for fellow young performers.
Amy Winehouse Throws Punches
At her first appearance since being hospitalized, Amy Winehouse performed at Britain's Glastonbury festival and threw a couple of punches. Amy's rep said, "The 'lashing out' was when someone tried to grab her hair and she reacted." Be sure to watch the whole video; it slow mo's the whole thing for your viewing pleasure. Does anyone else smell a lawsuit?
